Q&A and a Sneak Peek | Tulsa Lifestyle Photographer

I opened the Facebook page for questions a couple weeks ago and then forgot to answer them. So without further ado… here they are!

Q: Does your ‘Clickin’ It’ workbook go over post-shooting and editing tips and techniques?
A: No ma’am. Clickin’ It with MVP covers the basics of lighting, composition, and manual shooting. It’s all about how to get it right in-camera.

To learn more about the Clickin’ It with MVP class or workbook, visit the Clickin’ It tab up top.

Q: Do you style your clients? You photograph some very beautiful and very well dressed people!
A: I definitely have some gorgeous clients! First off, I’m of the belief that Southern women are the most beautiful to begin with ; ) Secondly, yes. I often do style them. It is included in the cost of the high-end custom photography experience MVP provides. I love collaborating with clients on where to shop, color schemes, and even shopping for/with them via text and email. Additionally, I have two fabulous stylists (one hair, and one makeup) who offer giant discounts to Madison Vining Photography clients. They’ll make you look the best you ever have. Airbrush makeup? Fabulous. And lastly, I will light you, pose you, and edit you to make you look stunning. I brighten eyes, clear skin, whiten teeth, nip and tuck any areas that need it (you know those areas that pudge out from your bra… not an issue! ; ) A lot is done behind the scenes to ensure that you love the way you look in your photos. I am glad this question was asked, because not a lot of people know that!

Q: If I’m not sure what products I want for my home, will you help me decide?
A:  Heck yes! It’s one of my favorite parts of my job– seeing the final product displayed in all its glory. Not only do I come to each client’s home with my giant bag-o-samples, measure the spaces in your home, and give you my professional opinion on products, sizes, etc., I also provide access to an amazing interior designer. She would love to come to your custom ordering session.

And now for a peek at a shoot I wrapped up last night.

This is Abby, and she’s about to be a junior at Metro Christian Academy. I was blown away by her style and her sweet personality. I had such a fun time with her and her mom!

I hope you love them, Ab! And for all your friends at Metro…

And I’ve been slacking on Touch-up Tuesdays, so here is a Before & After from her session for all you photogs:

Have a great day, everyone!
